Reflection Artifact: The document is a vision of what instructional technology should be in education and how I envision 21st century learning to take place in a school. The document meets the criteria by demonstrating a comprehensive use of technology. Rationale: This vision meets the 1a standard because it defines a vision that will serve all students in this digital age. It talks about the importance of students learning how to use these tools to help them reach a great purpose or goal to compete and succeed in this 21st century world. It also talks about how instructional technology can help them through their teachers reach that goal. 1b. Strategic Integration Plan Artificat: The artifact is a presentation of how a tool like smore can be used at various levels of the district from district wide to building wide. The plan demonstrates a vision of how it can be used in the district and how it can be impactful. Rationale:The strategic plan designed serves as a blueprint or a guide to develop a plan that can help schools have an effective technology-infused plan. The plan provided has a thorough plan of how a technology can be used at a district and building level. The Smore plan demonstrates effectively, how the tool can contribute to planning, development, implementation and evaluation. 1c. Advocate for policies, procedures, programs and funding strategies to support implementation of the shared vision represented in the school and district technology plans and guidelines. Advocacy Project Artifact: The following is a plan to advocate for STEAM education in a district or a school. It explores the benefits of a STEAM education as well as a plan of how to properly implement it. It helps to advocate for a program while providing funding options and thought out plans. Rationale: The Advocacy Plan designed, outlines an initiative to implement STEAM education. It offers information for all parties including, administration, staff and stakeholders. It outlines policies and procedures that support STEAM education and how the district can benefit from such program. 1d. Implement strategies for initiating and sustaining technology innovations and manage the change process in schools and classrooms. Evidence of Leadership Responsibility for Impact on Learning Artifact: The attachment is a website with information that lists the strategies and information that a leaders would share to initiate or sustain technology innovations. It has the vision of the instructional technology coach and the integration strategies. Rationale: The professional website is my evidence of leadership responsibility. It allows me to share strategies that can be used for initiating and sustaining technologies. The website is a platform that can be used to share all kinds of information including videos, resources and trends.
